Blue Christmas

As it’s finally December, here is a bit more inspiration for a very Pastiche Christmas!

Last year I focused on my favourite blue touches and lots of festive greens for a fresh and cozy Christmas at home.

I found these gorgeous mixed blue glass ornaments from Oleander and mixed in varying shades of blue velvet and silk ribbons for a feminine and classic touch to the tree.

This was the first year we had our fireplace (we finished the built ins just in time for the holidays!) so I ordered these stunning velvet stockings from Pottery Barn and had them monogrammed (the exact style seems to be out of stock but I’ve linked other options ones here and here).

Bloom & Co. created the stunning lush garland for the mantel and it was my favourite piece to enjoy throughout the holidays.

Our blue dining room was also the perfect setting for many romantic dinners as we celebrated special occasions and made ordinary nights a little more Pastiche.

Monarch Design Co. created these gorgeous custom Christmas cards for us using one of the photos Simply Lace Photo took at the Christmas tree farm. This was one of my favourite holiday touches. I included both in last year’s Holiday Love List to give you some more ideas for local and small finds and experiences.

This year I’m staying true to my love for everything blue and white and toile, but mixing in red for a nostalgic and classic holiday feel. Stay tuned!
